I was pleased to fit these four crowns for a patients yesterday.


The patient had crowns that had a poor appearance, he showed black lines at the gum margins.


We replaced his existing crowns with Emax crowns. These are all ceramic crowns that blend high strength with excellent aesthetics. 


The patient and I were delighted with the results.

A return to the UK and Pictures of Florida

After a minor delay because of renewed activity from the Icelandic Volcano I arrived back in the UK after a brilliant holiday in Orlando. Rebecca and I spent a fortnight with our extended family at the Floridays Resort on International Drive in Orlando, and spent a brilliant couple of weeks visiting the surrounding themeparks. The weather was unseasonably warm (even the local weather forecasters were commenting how warm it was) and over the two weeks of our visit we only encountered two thunderstorms.


We visited all the major themeparks, Disneyworld, Seaworld, Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure. We ate out in some brilliant restaurants, our favourite being the Hard Rock Cafe.


So over the last few days I have been editing photographs, here are a few of my early efforts, mostly they are focused on Seaworld. We had a brilliant time there, I loved the Orca show at Shamu Stadium but loved the dolphin show we saw later that same day.

I loved riding the rollercoasters and thrill rides and can thoroughly recommend The Tower of Terror at Disney Hollywood Studios and The Duelling Dragons at Islands of Adventure.


But the best trip was seeing the awesome power and majesty of the sea mammals at Seaworld.

A quick update from Orlando

Just to say we are having a brilliant time in Orlando, the weather is extremely hot, there is a mini heatwave here, temperatures in the 90's nearly every day so far.

Volcanos and meetings at work.

Saturday all being well and volcanos in Iceland allowing, I will be travelling to Florida. The volcanic eruption spewed vast quantities of ash over European airspace, and since last Thursday many flight have been cancelled and thousands of Britains have been stranded abroad. As of tonight according to a news story on BBC online this may now be over and it is up to the airlines to get things back on track again. I'm looking forward to getting to Florida and enjoying Disneyworld and all the other attractions.


Today at work we had a great meeting with Linda from The Best of Exeter, we found the meeting informative and useful and look forward to working with her soon. There were some cool ideas for marketing our dental practice at Spicer Road.
